Try this gluten free seed flatbread!
100ml sunflower seeds
100ml pumpkin seeds
75ml sesame seeds
75ml linseed
4 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp psyllium husk
200ml water
1 tbsp avocado oil
0.5 tsp salt
1. Mix all dry ingredients together.
2. Boil water and avocado oil and add to the dry ingredients. Quickly mix together and then spread as thin and even as possible on a flat baking tray covered with baking paper.
3. Bake in the oven for approx 1 hour at 140C until dry and crispy.
4. Turn the oven off, open the door lightly and let the bread cool down and dry up even more.
5. Break in pieces and store in an airtight container.
This is a gluten free crispy seed bread. It’s nutritious and high in fibre and contains omega-3. Super easy to make and quickly becomes a favourite. Try different versions of the recipe by adding different spices and herbs. Great to eat with hummus, avocado mix or with our herring and potato salad.
