Smoothies are perfect for breakfast because they can be varied endlessly. For an extra gut-friendly breakfast, we prefer green smoothies with copious amounts of green leaves. The green leaves, among other things, contain insoluble fibre that act as sponges in the intestines and can carry toxins out of the body.
3 handfuls of spinach/kale or other green leaves
½ avocado (toss with a piece of the core for an extra dose of fibre)
1 large pinch of parsley
1 piece of peeled ginger
Frozen mango in any amount
2-3 dl of water
Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix until the consistency is smooth. Pour into a glass and drink!
